Dinosaurs were a group of land-dwelling creatures that lived during the Mesozoic Era (about 230-65 million years ago). They included very large and small animals; meat-eaters, plant-eaters, and scavengers. However, all dinosaurs shared certain characteristics of their skulls and hips.

Dinosaurs were reptiles which lived millions of years ago.
