correspond与identical的区别

这两个也都有相同的意思。到底有没有更明显的区别的呢？？？

correspond to 意思是“与...对应“；
identical with/to 与...等同；相同的,同一的
区别应该是较明显的。
The American Congress corresponds to the British Parliament.
美国的国会相当於英国的议会.
Your pen is identical with mine.
你这支钢笔和我那支完全一样。
