Parents giving their kids allowance, will just make them lazy. If the children need some money to buy the stuff they like, they will just have to work for it. In North America, children over an age of 14 are allowed to work almost any where. children under an age of 14 can help their parents clean the dishes, or help their neighbors clean the snow in their backyard. If when kids need some money, they just go to their parents and ask for it, they will never realize the value money, and how hard it is to earn it. So when they grow up, they will not know how to spend responsibly, and trust me, they will regret it.
