The graph illustrates the amount of leisure time enjoyed by males and females of different employment status in 1998-9.
The hours of leisure time for females reised mildly from the females who were employed full-time females to those were employed part-time, and continued increased, but more sharply for the females how were unemployed to approximately 70 hours of leisure time. After remaining level as the unemplyed females for retired females, the amount of hours steeply went down to some 50 for the housewives.
As for the males, the hours of leisure time signifiantly growed between exployed full-time men from 50 and unexployed men to 80, then followed by a slight drop to around 79 for retired ones.
Compared with women who have the same employment status, men have more 10 hours than women have.
