“written by J.K.Rowling”是宾语“the book Harry Potter”的补语。
一般说来，每个句子中只能有一套完整的主谓宾结构。本句中Many students是主语，enjoy是谓语，the book Harry Potter宾语，以上是句子的主体，剩下的是宾语的补足语，用来补充说明宾语the book Harry Potter。
如果采用B项，那么就会形成另一套主谓宾：the book Harry Potter（主），was written by（谓），J.K.Rowling（宾），句子的层次就乱了。
