翻译一个词组：谁是谁的几倍

一共两种说法

1。主语+be+倍数+that of +被比较对象

这个句型简单明了，用于各种指标的比较。

如：

In our area the grain output is three times that of their area.

我们地区的粮食产量是他们地区的三倍。

或译成：我们地区的粮食产量比他们地区多两倍。

2. 主语+be+倍数+as+形容词as+被比较对象

This house is three times as large as that.

这间房子有那间房子的三倍大。

或者说：这间房子比那间房子大两倍。

根据这两个句型，你的句子应该这样翻译：

The population of rural areas is three times that of city.

农村人口是城里人口的3倍。

或：

The population of rural areas is larger two times than that of city.

农村人口比城里人口多两倍。

比如三倍：
three times as...as...
three times.....than.....
