1. 在英语中什么时候用be啊？be是be动词的原型我知道 ，可是我不知道怎样用它，什么时候用它。如：
The enemy was upon us.
The holiday will soon be upon us.
2.我搞不清时态的表达，英语句子中是不是前面有了一个表示过去式的，后面就用原形就可以构成过去时拉？如：
My plane didn’t take off on time because of bad weather.
说白了就是会混淆用 didn’t take off 还是didn’t took off.
3. My plane didn’t go off on time because of bad weather. 用go off填对吗？ go off也有离开的意思是吗？
4. when are you off to Guangzhou？ 我知道这是对的，但请问是用一般时态表示将来时啊？
换成这样对吗：when will you be off to Guangzhou？
5.When I was passing the Hall,I heard the clock strike twelve. 这里的strike为什么用原形？

讲漏讲错的地方多多包涵
1.一般情态动词（can may must etc.）后面就用be啦
还有 将来时 后面
其实这个很散 平时多积累就知道了 一时也想不起来 呵
2.你说的那个例句里面 didn`t 后面要跟动词原形啊 还有do does 后面也一样
既然是didn`t了 就表示这句子是过去时态的啦 或者这样子你就明白：
My plane took off on time because of good weather。两句一样 一个肯定一个否定 都是过去时态 只要弄清楚 didn`t take 和 took 都是过去时态就没问题了把

1、The enemy was upon us中was是be的过去时，表示的是以前的事。The holiday will soon be upon us中will be是将来时，表示的是以后的事。be在不同的时态中用不同的形式。不过学初中英语是要注意，在虚拟语气中，无论主语是什么，be都用were。
2、不一定。My plane didn't take off on time because of bad weather中did't take是took的否定形式。过去时的否定形式是用didn't+动
