Running Abraham
In 1919, German student Abraham was matriculated by the Cambridge University, but he didn’t live happily there, as he was a Jew. He was despised by other students, and even his teacher looked down upon him. But for learning more things, he continued studying at the university.
After the First World War, the government found English young men’s physique was very bad. So the university offered P.E. lessons to the students, and running was one of the most important parts of it. With a surprise, Abraham found himself feel free form worry when running. When he felt unhappy, he went running. And he was one of the best runners in the university.
Even thought he ran ever fast, he didn’t get rid of others’ disdain. Then he began to perplexed, unknowing if it was right to get respect from others by running. So at the last weekend of February in 1920, he decided not to run any more after the last time. However, on that day, he met Liddell.
