Part A Electronic Device Development
Select an electronic device that uses some microchip programming.
• Come up with a list of six research questions for this device. Have questions
checked by your teacher.
• Research these questions and present in a research document.
Part B Design specific questions
• Briefly outline the evolution of this device.
• Draw a diagram of the exterior of this device.
• How has the functionality of the device changed over it’s evolution. Have any
new safety features been added to the design?
• What are new developments that can/will influence the future development
of this device.
• Outline one of the routines that the microchip completes. Make sure you
include both the inputs and the outputs. (Can you draft Picaxe programming
code to complement this).
