A coin is tossed 10 times. What is the probability that the third head will appear on the tenth toss?

1、Before tenth ,prob. of 2 head within 9 tossings is 1/C[9,2]=1/36
2、Prob. of head for tenth is 1/2
Thus, prob. of the third head just at the tenth is 1/36*1/2=1/72

1、前9次有2个正面朝上，概率是1/C[9,2]=1/36
2、第10次正面朝上的概率是1/2
所以第10次恰好抛出第3次正面朝上的概率是 1/36 * 1/2 =1/72
