The more Bill worked on the maths problems,________
a.the more he was much confused .

答案是A为什么？？？
The more they talked，the more encouraged they felt．那么与这个的用法又有什么区别？

confuse是动词,confused是confuse的过去分词形式
而encouraged是形容词,和confused看上去相似但词性不同.
was /felt+形容词/过去分词,但是+过去分词时不能使用倒装.

我只记得the more...the more...后面要保持同样的句型。
