The Death Penalty: We Do Not Need It

The death penalty has been one of the most controversial debates throughout history. It has been drawing more and more attention in the United States since the Supreme Court reinstated it in 1976. In my point of view, death penalty is a violent and brutal act that is against human moral principles and does little good for the country. Therefore, it should definitely be abolished, especially in this highly civilized society.
