mysql远程连不上，为什么？

用MES SQL Manager2007 for MySQL,连接的时候不管什么方式都连不上去，是为什么呢？自己的ID连不上，用虚拟ID也连不上。用的是root，但是就是连不上去。是什么原因？
回答一楼的，有这样的提示
Con't obtain database list from the server.
Cannot load dynamic library libmysql.all
如果直接建的话，会提示
Cannot loat dynamic library libmysql.all

有什么提示信息或错误信息？

没用过SQL Manager不清楚怎么回事。
不过google到这么一条：

跟他一样试试用phpmyadmin连接mysql行不行？
