keep 与 keep on 的区别

请教 keep doing sth 与 keep on doing sth 的区别
还有其他的看法吗？我想多听听大家的意见

keep doing sth继续做某事，表示一直在做同一件事
keep on doing sth停下来去做另一件事

keep doing sth继续做某事
keep on doing sth是继续做某事且做现在做的事

1.如果是lie/sit/stand/walk等动词，只能用keep doing.其他用法相同
如： We must keep (on) learning all the time.
He kept sitting in the living-room all day, deep in thought.
