Could you please send me a revised quotation with a reference, if possible, so I can put the purchase through our purchasing system, whether it is for a Purchase Order or credit card purchase?

请问这里面的“with a reference”应该怎么理解？ 这是一个客户的产品询价邮件中的一段内容。

with a reference 是做个参考，你是做贸易的吧？通常客户这样说就是让你帮调下价格，然后最好给他个好点的理由，你的重点不是翻译，而是怎样能拿到他的单，后面他既然提了付款方式，就是有意思跟你合作，如果你价格不能调的话，也给他个理由，他也能接受．

参考，就是说；你可以传我一个校正好的报价单做下参考么？。。。
