UC知道what's 提问时的不同回答

there is a dormitory.
为什么都是用what来问的,而且只差别一点点，而回答却是it's 和there is. 我们小学老师说不可以颠倒和搞错的,不然就错了,要扣分.

the building 在这儿已经特指那个建筑物了 是唯一的 所以用it
而第二个是未知的 所有只表示这儿存在有 故应用there
第一个 上面有the building 所以用IT'S代替上文指出的建筑物
所以第二个用there is包含了特指的部分
其实都可以，可能是应为你老师认为the building是特指，所以要用it's.
1 已经指出了那是一个建筑物，回答用It代指，问与答的人都知道所代的物
体。
2 问的人不知道那里有什么物体。所以用There is
