1 选3 主语是friends, 因为后面有限制Betty made in NY,所以要加the，表全部
2 as many as就对了，（so一般用于否定）但是明显意思上语感上1更好

我发现你每次问题都这么多啊，呵呵，一个一个给你说吧：
1.后边有all说明不是部分朋友，用few的话就是他朋友的很少一部分了；在这里就只好用the特指，他在纽约交的那么几个朋友‘都’被邀请了；
2.so many as 60多别扭啊，如果想要表达得到60个的话，直接就got 60；这就是乱世幻想说的many一般不修饰具体数字，譬如我们一般说I （don't）have as（so） many apples as you。
3.Chinese有中国的，中国人，中国人的等意思；people有人，人民，民族等的意思；The Chinese可以指这个中国人，也可以指所有中国人，看场合；此处用的是are，所以就是指中国人整体；Chinese单用一般表示汉语；既然前面是泛指中国人，后边就应该也是复数概念，所以可以用a hardworking people（一个勤劳的民族）也可以用hardworking people（勤劳的人民）表达；
4.在城里一般说in town就可以了，因为在此并没有特指什么城镇；in the XXX town时才加the；另附上无冠词的一些场合：
