考试是否应该取消？正方，反方辩论（用英文作答）

正方：Examination is an institutional way to select people according to their ability and level of competence. A well-designed examination is transparent, fair and convincing. People with different levels of abilities could be distinguished by an exam without undergo the "haggling" interview process which could be very costly (time and money) and biased. In short, examinations are economic, efficient, and convincing (to people who are distinguished by the exam to be "low" in their espective abilities).

反方：A "perfect" examination is almost impossible to design. Exams are usually designed to be merely signals of ability rather than a real test of ability. Thus, through preparation for an exam, a low ability examinee could disguise as a high ability examinee (by obtaining high grade in an exam). This preparation process causes much inefficiency and arguably waste to the society.
