有美国个学校的推荐表里,让推荐人填写的有一项是

"What was the nature of your interactions with the applicant?"

这是什么意思啊?

而且应该不是在问relationship吧.因为单有一项是让写relationship to applicant...

我认为是指和申请者的交流是什么性质的。例如face to face;by phone/letter;personal contact等。How did he ask you to recommend him, Did you talk about the university

你和申请人，过往的交流，是属于什么性质？

interactions = 交流，交往
nature = 性质，本质

what was,不是what is，是不是问以前的关系？
