we has been having holiday home for two years(hought?应该是bought吧，这个词不能用于完成进行时，所以要换成have表示一个持续的状态)

present perfect表示从过去某时开始一直持续到现在的动作，并且还将持续下去。
past perfect表示一个持续到过去某时的动作，不一定表示这个过去动作将持续下去
