应该是可以的
我觉得这样也可以Tom's brother is as old/young as my brother

翻译不对，应该是

Tom's brother and my brother are the same age.
Tom's brother is as young as my brother.

"Tom's brother is the same age as my brother."
这个更好一些，因为这句翻译出来是“汤姆的兄弟是年龄和我的兄弟一样”。不过另外一句也说的通哦！
