当一个句子中动词开头时,哪时候是要动词原形开头,哪时候是要动词ing开头?

祈使句才能以动词开头，是因为省略了主语。如come
here。省略了you这个主语，you come here。而动词ing开头是动名词做主语。如painting is my favorite。

动词原形开头的一般都是祈使句，如：Come here early tomorrow.(明天早点来） Listen carefully,please.(请认真听讲）
动词ing开头的一般是动名词作主语的情况，如：Studying hard is very important.（努力学习是非常重要的） Helping others is good.(帮助别人是好的）。
