为什么用is?不是两件事吗？hope，wait为什么用原型？is后可以加原型吗？

规范的表达是：All we can do is to hope for the best and (to) wait.

一般只省略第二个to，这里是省略了两个，不太规范，但在口语中可以这样说

1. is是由all决定的
原句=all (we can do) is (hope for the best and wait)
=all is ....

2. 你用to do也可以啦，不过用原型比较省力。大家习惯了这么说

3. is后面通常不跟原型。另外动词也很少以原型出现的。一个例外是祈使句后的动词才用原型，比如圣经里面耶稣可以说let there be light(神说，要有光)
