哈佛大学为什么叫PRESIDENT AND FELLOWS OF HARVARD COLLEGE

President and Fellows of Harvard College，又称Harvard Corporation，实际上并不是哈佛大学，而是哈佛大学的两个管理机构之一（另一个是Harvard Board of Overseers）。它于1690年有马萨诸塞州最高法院批准成立。由于当时哈佛大学还叫做哈佛学院（Harvard College），所以这个机构的名字也沿用了此称呼。
