pass by这一短语中的by可以是介词，也可是副词。所以可以说：passed by me，也可说：passed me by.意思差不多。都可以表示：1，错过。2.经过

注:当短语动词由动词+副词构成时（如pick up, find out等等）如果宾语是名词，可以放在中间，也可以放在后面：pick the book up或者pick up the book；如果宾语是代词，则只能放在中间：pick it up.

关于补充的提问：Don't you do sth!是一种口语中常用的结构，表示警告和呵斥。相当于：Don't do sth!或者：You must not do sth.
