Mallet-Stevens （一般全名译为罗伯特.玛莱-史提文斯）所塑造的建筑风格意在为电影提供一个合适的现代机器式造型的场景，就像Leger(全名是Fernand Leger吧？那就是费尔南德 莱热 )所设计的图书馆内部场景。这个machine，我不是搞这方面的，更不晓得，不过在查的过程中看到了一点，是直接说成机器的。
