楼上的纯属胡说八道，
redhat linux 9是2003年出的，之后红帽公司停止了对红帽linux系列版本的开发，转而开发红帽企业版，

redhat enterprise 5 是红帽企业版5，是2007年发布的，属于付费软件
redhat Enterprise desktop 5 是企业版的桌面版

红帽跟红帽企业版两者不是一回事，不能混为一谈。

当然是 RedHat Linux 9 高
下面两个都是企业版，RedHat Enterprise 5 和 RedHat Enterprise Desktop 5 区别在于，Desktop更倾向于个人用户，界面更加友好，功能相对来讲会稍微弱一些，不过如果是个人使用足够了
