I would like to go back to Chang An in the Tang dynasty. It was the time that China was the most powerful nation of the world, and people were open-minded and well-educated. There were many visitors from allover the world coming to China, to learn from the success of the Chinese civilization, like the language, the structure of the society etc, and also brought their own knowledge. China also sent many people broad to learn from other cultures, like Xuanzang (Tang Seng), who went to India to get the holy books of Buddhism. There were so many great masters on poems and literature, today we still have many nice masterpieces from them left. Tang dynasty is the time I would like to go back most.
