什么是谓语动词单复数

she is a student
they are students.
第一个句子中的is 就是谓语动词，用的是单数
第二个句子中的are 就是复数的谓语动词
所谓的谓语动词就是用来做谓语的动词。

所谓的“谓语动词的单数”是取决与一个句子的主语的。在一般时态中，当句子的主语是“你”、“我”或者是复数的时候谓语就用原型（谓语不存在复数），其他是一般都要用单数形式，如下：
She likes cats. They like cats.
Li Lei likes cats. Li Lei and Jack like cats.
He is a handsome man. They are handsome men.
You are a good student.(你是个好学生。) You are good students.（你们是好学生。）
