在杂志上看到At New Year's，这个句子，记得以前看到的都是new year，不明白这里为什么会在new year's前加at?

At New Year's后面一定有个名词，表示在新年的某某时刻或某某场合等等。

省略了一个time
At New Year's time
在新的一年里

at new year's 其实是省略了day
就像at the doctor's （在诊所）一样

New year是新年，New year's是新年的，'s是名词所有格。
