2008年7月份以来，由美国次贷危机引发的全球性金融危机已经严重影响到我国宏观经济发展。外贸出口急剧下降，工业品出厂价格指数(PPI)和居民消费价格指数（CPI）的增幅近几个月大幅走低，前三季度GDP增长率多年来首次下降到10%以下。著名经济学家吴敬琏预测，这场金融危机对我国实体经济的影响2009年可能进一步深化。对于宏观经济的走势提前做出定量化预测，对于正确判断经济形势，制定相应的对策具有重要的意义。对此建立了宏观经济指标预测模型，并由此对ppi和cpi的增幅做出预测。
Since July 2008, the global economic crisi triggerd by subprime lending crisis has posed formidable impact on China's macro-economic development causing dramatic decrease in export volume and the growth rate of PPI(Producer Price Index ) and CPI(Consumer Price Index). GDP growth rate of the earlier 3 quarters has also dropped below 10% for the first time in recent years.
Mr. Wu Jinglian,the famous economist predicts that the impact by this crisis on China's real economy can get worse in 2009. It is of paramount importance for identifying the economic trend and formulating corresponding stratigies that quantitative prediction of macro-economic trend be made in time. Model for predicting macro-economic index has been set up to forecast the growth rate of PPI and CPI.
