2. Abstract: In the coming years, FTTH will replace the present ADSL and become the main stream in the broadband market. It can satisfy the ever increasing demand for higher speed rate and broader bandwidth; it is the best guarantee for a ‘three-in-one’ network of telephone, computer and cable-TV.
This paper conducts an application research on the EPON technology program and explores the prospect of implementing full-service access model in oilfield premise network; it analyzes the voice, data and the access technology of TV service, as well as the features of EPON technology.
