Thanks for your letter. In response to it, I will talk about my English learning experience here.
First of all, you have to build a interest in English. You have to love English from deep inside.To do this, you can watch English movies now and then, or listen to nice English songs. Once you have the interest, I'm sure you will soon start learning English positively and initiatively.
Secondly, you have to make a clear plan for yourself. You have to know well about where you are now, and which level you want to reach in a certain period of time. Then you can tell yourself to do some regular exercises, like reciting a text a day or so.
Thirdly, always stick to your plan! A person with ambition and persistance will never fail.
