vista已经不用boot.ini了，vista是一个boot的文件夹，另外还有其他引导文件，你格式化了C盘，自然无法引导vista。

建议你用vista的系统盘盘启动电脑进控制台恢复引导，要么就干脆直接重新安装吧。

虽然vista系统不在C盘。但C盘有启动vista必须的文件。你格式化C盘后就只能重新安装系统才能用了。

修复Vista与XP双系统启动项！

Windows Vista no longer starts after you install an earlier version of the Windows operating system in a dual-boot configuration。

点击“开始”，“运行”，“附件”，右击“命令提示符”，选择“以管理员身份运行”：

1、插入Vista安装光盘，假若光盘的盘符为F(视实际情况做相应改动)，在命令提示符下输入：
F:\boot\Bootsect.exe /NT60 All ；
2、假若Vista安装在D盘，C盘为激活分区(同样，视情况做相应改动)，输入：
D:\windows\system32\Bcdedit /create {ntldr} /d "Windows XP Professional"
D:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /set {ntldr} device partition=c:
D:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /set {ntldr} path \ntldr
D:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /displayorder {ntldr} /addlast
3、重新启动计算机。
