Spring Festival

The most important Chinese festival of the year is Spring Festival. It's the first day of the lunar year.

People are very happy in Spring Festival. They often have large dinners and watch special programs on TV with the family on the Lunar New Year's Eve. On the Lunar New Year's Day， people pay visits to relatives and friends. Children are very happy， too. They are in new clothes， and usually get some money， which is put in a red paper envelope from elder people.

In Spring Festival， you can see a lot of traditional programs too， such as lion dancing or dragon dancing. They wish people a happy New year and a bright future. It's very interesting.

Last year's Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to spend the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.ZBv
