这叫做定语从句中介词提前。
其实这个句子应该是 the sand which the wind can erase it easily from
也就是说from 与 erase 搭配的，= erase it from the sand 。但是可以将介词提前到关系代词which 前面。再如：
This is the room in which I once lived. = the room which I once lived in.

from which是修饰sand的

from 可以放在被修饰的词的后面，也可以放在全句最后。

意思就是说：....from the sand can be erased by wind.
