I really couldn't afford to give him what I did,but at least I know where I'll be every night.感觉不是字面上的意思

给了他那么多实际上超出了我的经济承受能力，但至少我还有地方睡。 (好人啊，实际的意思就是对方贫困得很，我帮了他，可能我也因此变得很困难，但我还比他强些，至少不会无家可归)
