一。导言
翻译教学是培养翻译人才的主要途径, 也是大学英语教学中的重要组成部分。西方翻译界早在上世纪60 年代就开始关注翻译教学 , 并指出:“翻译是一门独立的学科, 翻译教学 区别于纯正意义的语言教学, 翻译教学 需要进行专门的翻译训练。”(让•德利尔,1988 )随着翻译研究的深入, 翻译教学 已从和语言教学有关的翻译行为中独立出来, 目前已经展开了有关学科定位、培养目标、课程设置等多维度的研究。因而, 将翻译教学 融入到大学英语 教学当中, 从而培养学生的翻译能力 是十分必要的。另外, 由于师生语言背景相同, 在课堂上, 适当的母语解释,尤其是在解释具有抽象意义的词汇和母语中所没有的语法现象时, 翻译教学既省时省力又简洁易懂。

1.大学英语教学中翻译教学的现状。
1.1 大学英语教学普遍存在的问题。
1）大学英语翻译教学存在的问题翻译教学一直以来是大学英语教学中的一个薄弱环节,究其原因如下:一教育部颁布的《大学英语教学大纲》规定,要培养学生具有较强的阅读能力和一定的听、说、写、译能力。尽管“译”被列入了教学大纲,但在第二层次的次要地位。
2）大学英语四、六级考试中的翻译题型不是常用固定题型。而且四、六级考试无形中对大学英语教学起着指挥棒的作用,学生的传统观念就是不考不学使得翻译教学难上加难。
3）目前大学英语使用的教材中没有系统全面介绍翻译知识的独立单元,而有些教师照本宣科,业务不精导致只能够进行传统的教学方法。
