暹：日光升起的意思。暹罗是泰国的旧称。电影取名《暹罗之恋》，是因为故事的一段重要情节在泰国曼谷的暹罗广场展开。《暹罗之恋》讲述了两个从小一起长大的男孩之间的感情经历。
