while和when的差别什么是延续性？什么是中止性？

如果用while，则其引导的从句的动词必须是可延续的，如read,listen等，不能用go,buy等瞬间动词

while +时间段
when + 时间段/ 时间点

延续性---可以持续
中止性--短暂性

while 引导从句的动词应是连续性
when 引导从句的动词延续非延续均可

While the girl was shopping ，the alien got out = The girl was shopping when the alien got out

过去进行时 +when+一般过去式

while是延续性；when是中止性。
We waited for three hours, all the while hoping that someone would come and fetch us.
我们等候了三个小时, 一直希望能有人来接我们.
强调等的过程！

It was raining when we arrived.
我们到的时候正在下雨。
强调到达的时候！

while接的句子里的动词必须是延续性的，就是该动作能持续一段时间的。如：read，sing等。
when接的句子里的动词一般都是中止性的，也就是短暂性的瞬间动词。如lost,see等。
