The research problem is grounded in the professional responsibilities of interior designers with respect to the design levels they are to operate, the current situation of design education as fragmented teaching and learning practices that do not give students the chance of incorporating all knowledge into their design projects, and the lack of sufficient lighting instruction in design schools.
