不可数名词前为什么可以用are

不可数名词前不可能用are
除非他前面有表数量的词 而且还是复数
eg four bags of rice are enough 之所以用 are 是前面的 bags
这个名词可能有可数名词或不可数名词两种词义
eg all are going to leave here all 在这里指人 可数
all is lost I can't afford a piece of bread
all 在这里指的是钱 不可数

这和名词前的修饰语有关，比如a large mount of money用单数，而large mounts of money就用are，这是一种特殊用法，其实并没有语法道理，见到就记住。
