The Contractor shall pay to the Subcontractor the amount so stated on the Work Progress Certificate less the holdback,less any moneys that may be due by the Subcontractor to the Contractor and subject to the Contractor's right to duduct the sum necessary to cover the Subcontractor's debts in relation to the Work which could give rise to a lien,privilege,charges or any other claim for which the Contractor maybe held liable
