fedora10 VMWARE TOOLS 安装

我刚在虚拟机中安装了fedora10，但是分辨率只有800X600,我网上看了一下，是VMWARE TOOLS没有安装，我一看虚拟机，也是提示这个没有安装，忙活了一下午也没有弄明白是怎么安装的，因为刚进去的时候是普通的用户，我连切换到root权限都不会，所以希望高手能够赐教：
1、切换到root权限。
2、安装VMWARE TOOLS

1。VM->Install Vmware Tools没有自动挂载vmware tools的ISO文件；
解决方法：
a.VM->Setting->Hardware->CDRom->use ISO image
b.选中linux.iso文件。如果是其他版本，请做对应选择，如window.iso等；
c.然后 mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/
d.拷贝tools文件至/tmp：cp VM*.tar.gz /tmp
e.运行config：./vmware-install.pl

2。在/vmware-install.pl安装过程中；出现
What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]
The path "/usr/src/linux/include" is not an existing directory.
What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]
修改为：/lib/modules/2.6.181.2798.fc6/build/include/
出现错误：The directory of kernel headers (version @@VMWARE@@ UTS_RELEASE) does not match your running kernel (version 2.6.18-1.2798.fc6). Even if the module were to compile successfully, it would not load into the running kernel.
其原因是：vmware显卡驱动跟fedora6不配套，需要补丁。
