Open the book of memory, and I can easily recall many wonderful group activities in class. A shining experience lies in my heart--- one in a Chinese lesson.
That day, our Chinese teacher asked us to tell a historical story to others which was not known to many people and make a discussion about it. What surprised me much was not the heated discussion, but the stories we ourselves told. I had never expected that almost everyone had a fertile knowledge and broad horizons. There were so many interesting stories as I had never heard. In the end, we all had begun to realize that it was the real purpose of the teacher of this lesson.
Since then I have changed my view of the group activity in class. It is not a boring discussion that most of us think it might be, or a chat that has nothing to do with our study, but a process of sharing different ideas and cultivating a creative mind. So I strongly appeal that teachers
