I wonder how many of you here got the job relying on nepotism or the old boy network rather than simply on yourself..and what do you make of this phenomenon, by the way, I myself have already got two jobs this way.
note:An old boy network, or society, can refer to social and business connections among former pupils of male-only private schools.

It's no doubt these two ways are the most effecient approachs to get a job.

This kind of cultural phenomenon, which you cannot get rid of, has been popular through our country for centuries. (Foreigners take it as crony relationships.)

However, I myself was not that lucky. I graduated and came to a totally strange environment, far away from hometown as well as my university

not graduate yet
just think this is normal
somehow find job is one thing if you can handle it is another thing……i don't think it's a good phenomenon

Not sure what do you mean by "old boy netowrk", but i got my job on myself. I think the phenomenon of nepotism is very common, it has been there for a long time, and it will always be there. Congrats you got two job this way.
