除了动词变名词、介词后和进行时这三种情况何时还加ing?
I love to read all kinds of books,those concerning thoughts of great writers .
concerning是？

concerning 就是 concern + ing
构成了非谓语
你看I love to read all kinds of books已经是一个完整的句子了，后面不能再有谓语， 如果要谓语就要用连接词才行
those concerning thoughts of great writers 就是对books进行补充说明的非谓语。
非谓语是很重要的一个语法，动词ing和动词ed形式都可以构成非谓语。
如果是主动，就是ing 形式
如果是被动，就是ed 形式

是指书里涉及到的伟大的作者的思想--主动
所以concern+ing
