请问句中的are换成is对吗？
我在词典中找到有一下例句：
1 There's a queue of companies waiting to sell the product.
2 The's a long queue of people waiting for new houses.
从以上例句看应该是对的，请高手发表意见，谢谢！

这个句子是倒装句，主语是a long queue of patients，你把句子改一下看下。
Look! A long queue of patients are waiting to be examined outside the waiting room。改了之后，是不是就一清二楚了，a lone queue of patients（一长排队伍的病人，强调的是病人多）是复数，不能用is的
1 There's a queue of companies waiting to sell the product. 这里关键是there be跟着的是queue,是单数哦（there be有就近原则的啊）
2 The's a long queue of people waiting for new houses. 道理一样，there be有就近原则的啊，there be跟着的是queue。
而你刚才的句子，不是there be的句型，没有就近原则的问题，如果要用is的话，要改成
There is a long queue of patients waiting to be examined outside the waiting room。

我感觉不能换成is
个人觉得楼主的句子中queue of patients侧重的是病人本身，不是这个队伍，而且后面还有定语waiting to be examined，等着检查的病人，其侧重点更偏向与patients
而下面这两个例句可翻译为一长队的公司等着卖产品，侧重的是行列...
个人看法 不知道楼主认同吗？
光从例句看的话
你的第一个句子应该是is而不是are
但是我也不太确定are是不是也可以，主谓一致的部分量词是很搞得...
