Nowadays students must learn English from an early age in schools and cope with various English exams. Some people,including myself, believe that it is necessary to hold oral English exams while others disagree. In this essay, I'd like to discuss them from both of the two sides.

Because one of the main function to learn English is to communicate with foreigners, some people point out that oral English is very helpful for students. Schools should hold oral English exams so as to force them to practise their oral English.
