today it is my birthday .and i am very happy .because my foreign teacher gave me a present.but when i put it in my bag and thanked her,she looked a little unhappy.so i felt some confused until i knew

Today was my birthday,I was very happy.My English teacher Jimmy gave me a birthay gift before the English class.I was so glad to accept it.I said thanks to him and then put it in my schoolbag.Seeing this,Jimmy seemed not to be happy.I was really surprised .Later I knew that we were different in the culture.From this I knew more about the culture of western countries.
